A Saudi national with an aspiration of becoming an EMT-Paramedic to help his fellow countrymen in a pre-hospital care, has earned a degree from the University of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania – Center for Emergency Medicine. With all the effort, time and dedication to his chosen career, his vision was fulfilled and ends up of establishing an Emergency Medicine Institute to train and educate his fellow nationals who will become highly trained health care professionals that provide comprehensive, compassionate and efficient pre-hospital emergency medical care. This program will help prepare every student for a rewarding, life long profession of providing protection and service to our citizens and visitors. |

Andre Valentine is a quality-oriented individual with over 32 years experience as an Emergency Medical Technician/Paramedic, 20 years as a flight medic and 25 years experience in Fire Suppression and 25 years in EMT & Paramedic instruction including (U.S. Army combat medicine). Andre has Bachelors degree in EMS Management, Master degree in Fire Sciences. |

As Assistant Chief of Training and a Fire Chief was responsible for and manages the Fire and Emergency Services (F&ES) Training program. Works with training officers and other department leaders to develop training programs to support fire department statement of work requirements, in accordance with NFPA, Army, and other applicable regulations. Performs detailed needs analysis using response data developing specific training programs to support department operations. Ensures competency of personnel by evaluating effectiveness of training programs and administrating DOD fire fighters certification program. Develops job performance requirements, lesson plans, training schedules, instructional methods, and instructional media and curriculum, and evaluation instruments. |

Currently Andre is getting his licensed as a paramedic by the Saudi Council for Health Specialties to be the second in the kingdom to have and is maintaining the standard of the approved curriculum for Paramedic training in the Kingdom. He is working closely to keep developing the Paramedic ambulance unit, the first of its kind in the Gulf region, to deliver paramedic care to the residents of Riyadh, KSA. Andre also teaches and precepts students on a daily basis for the institute and is the EMS Program Director. |
