Emergency Medicine Institute takes delivery of ALS Ambulances |
The Emergency Medicine Institute is proud to announce the arrival of two ambulances that will be used to train students in the city. EMI is the first institute to offer advanced training in the field of Emergency Medical Technician. Kenneth D’Alessandro, MES Program Director said, “Having advanced equipped ambulances will allow the students to experience EMS in reality. Students will provide both emergency and non-emergency care to citizens and industry.” EMI is currently undergoing an expansion of programs and is looking to open a new institute in another major Saudi Arabian city. |

| EMS Author and Educator Robert S. Portor presents academic excellence award |
Abdullah Abo Hasabo was honored with a diner at the United States Emabassy and presented with an award for his academic achievements. The Emergency Medicine Institute initiated the Robert S. Portor Academic Excellence Award presented to the student who demonstrates the most academic progress throughout his training experience. Mr. Portor was on hand to present the award to Abdullah personally. Mr. Portor is one of the authors of ParamedicCare:Practices and Principals as well as a number of other books. College presents flag to Emergency medicine Institute |
One of the crowing achievements of the Emergency Medicine Institute is its relationship with the Harrisburg Community College, Harrisburg Pennsylvania, USA. EMI is prous to coordinate its classes under the banner of HACC. During a site visit and examination administration, HACC representative Mike Tonkay presented founder Mughem Al Otaibi and Program Director Ken D?Alessandro with the college flag. EMI looks forward to continuing its relationship with HACC and plan to increase the number of courses it offers in conjunction with HACC. |
